Vision and aims of organization

Vision: YNPD has a vision of prosperous Nepal with the leadership of youth leaders, where the youth manipulated still, will be in leading place and the adults will be for advices.

Mission: YNPD attempts to build capacities of youth leaders from rural areas on project planning and management.

Goals:

  • To make aware about their own capacities.
  • To make them able to know what are available for them in our nation.
  • To empower them with leadership qualities.
  • To make them able to participation in decision making level.
  • To strengthen the youth clubs, youth organizations and youth groups.

Objectives:

  • To make the youth able to lead the local level development activities.
  • To make them able to lead the whole nation.
  • To make them able to participate in decision making process.
  • To aware them about their own role and responsibilities.

Organisation’s core areas of expertise

YNPD aims to carry out research, implementation and advocacy campaigns as per the youth of Nepal needs. To work in different sphere of development concern and peace building, YNPD team members’ volunteers, specialist are engaged developing sector wise and peace building plan and strategy.

Activities main focus

To make a prosperous Nepal through the development of youth leadership is the main policy of YNPD. It believes that only the youth can make better future if they are well trained and endowed with good leadership skill and knowledge. So it attempts to build new types of youth power, different from the current situation and environment. It mainly focused to the youth who are living in rural areas.

YNPD is an organization fighting for the whole empowerment of the local and rural youth who are still not provided any opportunity for exploring their internal talents.
