Youth Advocacy Team

UNOY Peacebuilders will send a team of youth advocates the United Nations General Assembly to advocate for greater youth involvement and participation in peacebuilding processes in general and for a UN Security Council Resolution on youth, peace and security in particular. Prior to the advocacy visit, the team will do research on relevant topics, do a mapping of actors, schedule meetings and prepare a policy paper. The team will receive training in advocacy and campaigning prior to the visit.
