Peace of Minds

The Call for Challenges is now open! Click here for more information.

UNOY Peacebuilders are teaming up with partners Upact and Windesheim to arrange the Peace of Minds 2012 – a follow up of the succesful Peace of Minds 2011.

Peace of Minds is an educational programme for Dutch students that is aimed at sensitising them to issues connected to development and peacebuilding. The students are to be challenged with a real-life development problem, or challenge, which they should try to solve jointly with a UNOY member organization by coming up with innovative ideas to find solutions to the challenge.

Peace of Minds 2012 will run from August to December. It will start with a kick-off week in late August, after which the Dutch students jointly with a UNOY member organization will start developing a possible solution to the challenges submitted. The final solutions will be presented by the Dutch students in December, and after that it is up to the UNOY member organizations to implement the solution.
