- How can I provide support to UNOY?
You can support UNOY, its members and activities in many ways! Support can be financial, dedicated to a project or allocated to the organization in general. You can also help us with in-kind contribution.
- How will UNOY report the use of my help back to me?
All donors and sponsors are included in the project’s process. They will also receive a end-of-project report (including narrative and financial reports) to assess how efficiently their support was used by UNOY.
- How will my sponsorship be advertised?
Our donors and sponsors are promoted on our website on the Partners and Donors page and on the banner on the right.
In addition, we apply our partners’ logos on relevant support such as reports, promotional material: project website, flyers, posters, presentations about UNOY.
I am a young person interested in peacebuilding
- How can I become part of the UNOY team?
You can engage in peacebuilding and in UNOY in several ways. You can become a volunteer or an intern. You can become one of our fans on Facebook to be kept updated on what we are doing.
- How much time does an internship at UNOY require (number of days per week and months)?
In order to sustain the work of the organization, we are looking for interns able to commit for 5 months minimum. Depending on the desk and the activity of the secretariat, the number of worked days is flexible; though interns have to work at least 2 days a week. See the current openings here.
- Is the internship paid?
Given the structure of UNOY, we are not able to offer paid internships. However, we cover travel costs and lunch. In addition, we provide our interns with training opportunities when possible.
- What will I gain from an experience at UNOY?
Interning at UNOY is a great opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills linked to peacebuilding, advocacy and/or gender. You will also learn a lot about team work, working in a very international environment. You will also experience responsibilities and initiative.
